This year we have again successfully applied for the Green Printing House of the Year Award. CEO Katalin Orgován took over the prize this time with the highest, five-star rating at the awarding ceremony held in the building of the Szily Kálmán Technical Secondary Grammar School, Vocational Secondary School and Student Hostel on 18 October.
In recognition of the environmentally conscious efforts of the paper, printing and packaging industries, the GPwA Green Award (Green Printworld Award) was established in Hungary in 2010. The GPwA certification system includes requirements and a scoring, which can be documented and verified: the evaluation takes place annually on the basis of the submitted application documentation, an on-site audit, the applicant’s website, publications, lectures, conferences, and the company’s standing in the industry.
Pátria Printing House entered the competition for the award for the first time in 2014. Then and in 2015, we obtained a four-star rating. Therefore, the top rating obtained this year demonstrates our commitment to the continuous development of environmental awareness.
